There are two synagogues within a 20-minute drive of Clayton. Yavneh is located in northern Raleigh, and Beth Shalom is located closer to Cary, southeast of Raleigh. While these two synagogues are the closest, they are hardly the only two in the Raleigh-Durham area.
There are several mosques in the Triangle, but the two closest to Clayton are Masjid an-Noor al-Muhammadi, which recently opened in 2015, and the Islamic Center of Raleigh. Both are within a 30 minute drive of Clayton, NC.
